After coming back from NCECA, I decided to start drying out the first bust I made to finally bisque it. After it is fired through I am going to use Gold Luster glaze on the rings that are at the bottom of the sculpture.

The second bust is almost ready, sorta. I am almost finished building the head, which I think it’s what I need to get done so I can add volume to the body and hands to make it more proportionate. overall I am very excited to finish this bust, it has been quite the challenge. After I am finished with it I am interested in going back to the rings and chains and vest.

during NCECA I went to a short panel named Fashion and Ceramics, it was a super short panel but I left feeling very inspired and I definitely want to finish the vest, or start a new one. I bought some wooden rings of various sizes which I am now preparing to make molds out of.
The last thing I am planning on making this week is the terrasig, I think I should make it and start testing on mugs or other things that are not sculptures.
