Hi,

I forgot to take pictures of the chain heart… but I think I finally figured it out, I left it drying on Thursday so hopefully it stays nice, dry, and as a solid piece so I can finally mount it to the lid next time I am in the studio.

I also built the long chain with the letter charms that will go inside the vase, but I did already install it and place it inside the vase and I crumbled C: so… that’s fine. I just have to make it again.

Since I haven’t made too much progress on the vase and didn’t take any pictures, I will show you some pictures of the mugs I worked on over the summer, they are currently bisked just waiting to get glazed c:

I also built a medium size vase where I incorporated the chains. This vase led me to the large one I am currently working on.

There are a few more things (chain-related) that I worked on over the summer but maybe I will dedicate a post for that alone because it is not really finished, just halfway started and I am not sure where I want to go with it.

but this is my favorite piece from the summer break, I keep calling it a medallon, or circular relief thing lol

I love, love the pattern, I used this to play with colors and patterns and I love how it turned out and how playful it is! I am not sure if I will be applying a clear glaze to the whole thing or in what areas but I know that I want to continue to make this. I now want to add a fun pattern to the first medallon I made. I think it would be an amazing addition. ( I am not set on that one in particular but something like that.)
