They are getting there!! slowly but surely! I think the figures are looking a lot better than last time.
Last week was a busy one so I didn’t make any incredible progress, but I am pleased with what I was able to do with the figures.
Alright, so… this looks like shit lol.
Before I had added a white “net” pattern all over the vase body, but after carving the pattern, I didn’t quite love how it looked, I want this piece to be even more beautiful than the last one.
This picture was when I decided to add some texture to the net pattern, making it look like rope.
I don’t have a picture with the updated texture, but it still looks like shit.
I am trying to achieve something like the nets below. I do this it is necessary to add the little knots in order to make it look more realistic, so I will be working on those next week.
I want to have this finished by Nov 11th as too late, I am eager to start working on a medallon and also a 3rd vase, I have some fun ideas :3 and time is going so efing fast!
