Pretty much done building the body of Vase #3 I am a little nervous because I fear nothing will be as good as Vase #1 lol

I still don’t have a fully finish sketch of what imagery I will have, but I will continue to work on sketches tonight. This is what I have rn.

This is a very rough draft, but I was thinking of having birds in the background, those will be flatter reliefs, and I’ll have birds flying outwards all around the vase… I think?

I still want to add a pattern but I am not sure what or how it will all tie together.

I found this picture on an old hard drive, it is a Catrina that I found in an artisanal shop in Mexico, the image is dated October 19, 2014. It’s a horrible picture but lol it’s what I got xd

But it is kind of what I had in mind.

This weekend I submitted my application to Manifest Gallery, I also encouraged my partner to apply with his landscape photography, we are very excited to hear back from them, I hope we get it!

I also have been working a little bit on my website. It is still not anywhere near finished, but we are getting there.
