I dedicated this week to building a few vases, I currently have two, and I am working on the third one. I have been thinking about how long my process is between finishing vases and figuring out sketches, and building the next vase body. So I thought it would be faster if I had the bodies built, so I can then just add the figures.

I am still working on sketches for these vases, but I am a little stuck and indecisive.

In the last blog, I presented the idea of having birds all around the vase, but I am not convinced… I might try that idea of the birds on a smaller vase first. 
I am very into the concept of the last two images, the circle in the middle would be a hole where you can peek in and see a chain hanging from the lid (?) but I don’t know how to incorporate a pattern with the hole. But I think it would be interesting to have that hole, taking into consideration the gestures of the figures, pointing toward the center of the vase.

I am more confident about making this one than the other one.

and I haven’t made a sketch for the third one but I want to use this photo with my grandma.
