What is promised is due. Here are sketches:

The concept originates from what I discussed in the last blog. I was struggling for a while with how to further develop the idea of the vessels of my ancestors. I had some jugs made, but didn’t know how to tie those vases to myself and my history.
After working on my past blogs, I thought more deeply about what I want from this series and why it is important to me. I arrived at the conclusion that it is important for me to show myself in this work and, more importantly, to show myself thinking of my predecessors and processing their becoming, their journeys, and their struggles, and how similar (to a point) they have been to mine.
This is me working on the bust (umm… I’m still using the tools you loaned me 😀 I will return them, I promise! I just can’t find them online).
Overall, I’m very proud of my progress. I’ve been building this with incredible confidence somehow, now I’m really wanting to make a full-body figure! It would be hard, but I’m up for the challenge. I think that would make this work even more interesting.

here is with hair lol
