The world is on fire, but it’s ten degrees.

Ice on the ground and in the streets. 

Time is flying past my eyes,

And yet, time is all I have.

Dissociating for hours,

Wasting the only currency I have.

Watching it drain from behind my eyes.

Now, I’m here.

Proving its effect on me,

Taking a break,
