Last week I worked a liitle bit more on the bust. I started shaping the eyes and rounding the cheeks, and at some point, I absolutely ruined the eye placement. hehe. The eyes looked like distant cousins that only see each other at funerals.

It’s thankfully fixed now!

I also kept using the brand-new, custom-made paddle and didn’t expect to love it this much. I am still surprised of how much i like using and how well it works with this piece.
Welp.

That was basically my week.
No big thoughts. No emotional spiral. Just me, the clay, the weird eyes, shaping the cheeks, and hitting the piece with the paddle a lot.
Very hands-on.
