progress, huh!

So, as of today, I still don’t know what I want to put on the vase. I just know it has to be big, which means I’m about to have a pretty large canvas and no real plan yet. Slightly intimidating but exciting.

But on another note, I have two other important things on my mind.

1. I really, really want to make a political mosaic. I hate the state of the country and honestly the world, and I think turning that anger into something physical would be good. It also feels like a good excuse to learn a new skill.

And the other thing

2. I’ve started a list of schools and grants that I want to apply to, either for residencies or grad school. I really would love it is out of the country. Hopefully, in Latin America, preferably the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico, and hopefully, free! I’ve been craving to reconnect with my roots and learn how to work the material the same way my ancestors had.
