I am very excited to finish this mosaic. All of my pieces are cut and ready… well, almost finished. Now that I’m looking at the composition to decide a pattern, I’m realizing now that it might need to add a straight border around the outside to make it look cleaner and complete

Because of that, I’m starting to think about what shape the border tiles should be and what color combination works best.

Right now I’m considering a few options for the edge tiles, but I’m still deciding what will work best with the colors and shapes already in the design.

I think I like the black background and white lettering the most, but the option at the top might work the best.

For the border, I need to make a set of halftiles, and maybe even some square or rectangular-shaped tiles. ie
