Going to NCECA 2026 was probably one of the biggest highlights of my year; not only did I meet the most amazing artists, but I made links and friendships that will stay with me for life. The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts is such an important event for young artists to attend. I wish every single artist and art student could attend this type of conference, as an undergrad, it was an important part of my growth. 

Seeing past IUS Post Bacc students take the big stage alongside artists who have made a name for themselves was such a mind-blowing experience. I am so proud of my cohort!

 This year was my second time at NCECA, and I came home incredibly inspired, ready to fulfill my goals and set new, more challenging ones.
