I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and grew up in Mexico City. I have earned a BFA in Ceramics and Graphic Design at Indiana University Southeast.

My art is an exploration of identity, a fusion of my cultural heritage, academic pursuits, and the ever-evolving landscapes that shape my worldview. With each creation, I invite viewers to embark on a visual journey and encourage them to reflect on the interplay of culture, tradition, and personal expression.

In my work, I use heavy patterning symbolizing the complexity of my identity. In my most recent body of work, I used terracotta and brown stoneware; Both have raw and earthy qualities. These materials allow me to connect in depth with my roots and culture. It allows me to maintain a cohesive narrative about the places that shaped my experiences and the memories carved within them.
