Welp, to talk about the artist being a humble servant to their craft (last blog, keep up lol), it’s crazy work after opening my kiln this evening.

I wanted to scream. I don’t know what the heck happened, but I am so sad lol.

No words, just sad.

I tried popping some of the blisters on the side of the face, and it definitely looks better than it did before. I might go back in and polish the whole face with a diamond tool.

I just don’t understand what happened :c None of my other pieces bubbled up like that, and I’ve been firing this clay body at cone 6 for a while and this has never, ever happened before :c
